As part of the 2015 European Development Days, the CTA in collaboration with the World Bank and the European Commission, will organise a side event on the subject of Revolutionising data use to feed the planet”. This event, which will take place on Wednesday 03 June 2015 from 16:15 PM – 17:30 PM (Tour & Taxis. Avenue du Port – Haveniaan 86c, B-1000 Brussels, Room D3), builds on the 40th Brussels Briefing on the theme of Data Revolution for Agriculture in ACP countries.

·Small Farmers Big Business at EDD 2015

As part of the 2015 European Development Days, the CTA in collaboration with GIZ, SNV, UNIDO and COLEACP will organise a side event on the subject of Value chains for value gains: Multi-stakeholder partnerships to boost agricultural growth. This event, which will take place on Thursday 04 June 2015 from 09:00 AM – 10:15 AM (Tour & Taxis. Avenue du Port – Haveniaan 86c, B-1000 Brussels; Room S6), is centered around the Small Farmer’s Big Business Partnership (SFBB), whose goal is to engage the private sector for sustainable development and food and nutrition security in ACP countries.

·Supporting Pacific Agri-Food Recovery at EDD 2015

As part of the 2015 European Development Days, the CTA will organise a side event on the subject of “Vanuatu and Pacific : From the “Pam” disaster to rehabilitation & sustainable development”. This event, which will take place on Thursday 4 June, 12:30 PM – 13:45 PM (Tour & Taxis. Avenue du Port – Haveniaan 86c, B-1000 Brussels, Room D2), responds to the devastating Pacific cyclone “Pam”, which a month ago, destroyed infrastructure, agriculture and the livelihoods of many in Vanuatu.
