Which are the key challenges posed to strengthen resilience in agriculture? – this is one of the main questions to be addressed during the next Brussels Development Briefing, organized by CTA in collaboration with the ACP Secretariat, the EC/DEVCO, Concord and IFPRI in Brussels.
On 4th March 2013, we will hold a Briefing on the important issue of Agricultural resilience in the face of crisis and shocks to discuss the concept and approaches to resilience and highlight proven approaches and instruments around some key areas of special benefit to the small-scale farmers in African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries.
Panelists will address approaches and instruments for building resilience in agriculture and examine proven successes and best practices to decrease vulnerability to these shocks.
This is the 30th edition of the Brussels Briefing. On the occasion, participants will be given a special commemorative CD-Rom featuring five years of Briefing material including updated Readers, presentations, Policy Briefs and a range of other resources that you can order if you don’t participate.
More than 200 participants have registered.
